يذكر أن مجلس الإدارة كان يعمل على حل أزمة اللاعبين المحترفين في الساعات الأخيرة، حيث لهم مستحقات مالية متاخرة لدى القلعة البيضاء.
ويواجه فريق الكرة الطائرة بالزمالك موسمًا صعبًا على الصعيد المحلي، وسط محاولات مستمرة من الإدارة لتخطي الأزمات المالية التي ألقت بظلالها على فرق الألعاب الجماعية بالنادي.

Aos 24, Gabriel Silva puxou o contra-ataque e acionou Campaz, que limpou e chutou. A bola, porém, desviou em Kaique Rocha. Na sequência, Nicolas sobrou escanteio, e Ferreira cabeceou para baixo. No entanto, Daniel defendeu. O Colorado respondeu com Maurício, que soltou uma bomba. Brenno salvou. Edenílson, aos 34, também tentou, mas parou na defesa do arqueiro gremista.

Manchester City have made some fantastic signings under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola. Of course, they have not held back with the spending, buying some of the world’s best players for significant transfer fees. The most expensive of those was Jack Grealish. He joined from Aston Villa for £100m in 2021.
It has certainly been a worthy investment. The Cityzens’ signings in recent summers ultimately helped them to win their historic treble in the 2022/23 campaign, which included the club’s first-ever Champions League title.
Of course, arguably the most important window of the lot came in the summer of 2022.
City’s summer 2022 transfer window
Although it was an important transfer window for the Cityzens, there were a few signings that did not work out. One of those was promising Spaniard, Sergio Gomez, who made the move from Belgian side Anderlecht. He made just 38 appearances for the club over two seasons before leaving in the summer for Real Sociedad.
There were two key signings made from German giants Borussia Dortmund. Manuel Akanji was one of those who made the move to the Etihad Stadium. The Swiss international has played 113 times for the club and was an important part of the treble-winning side.
However, the most important signing made that summer was surely Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker also joined from Dortmund for a fee of £51.2m and has been sensational during his time in Sky Blue so far.
The centre-forward, who was born in Leeds, has 107 goals to his name already for the Cityzens, despite playing just 117 games. His first season at the club, the treble-winning campaign of 2022/23, saw the striker score a remarkable 52 goals in 53 games.
This term, the 24-year-old has seen his form fluctuate. Although he has scored an impressive 17 goals in 19 appearances, the striker has managed to score just two goals in his last eight Premier League games, as City’s form also hits a rut.
Despite current circumstances, there is no doubt the signing of Haaland, especially, made the 2022 summer window worth it for City. However, there was another expensive addition who did not work out how all parties hoped. That man is Kalvin Phillips.

The Mancunian side paid Leeds United £42m up front and a further £3m in add-ons to sign Phillips. It was a signing they were hopeful would work out, especially given the money the England international cost.
When he first put pen to paper at the Etihad Stadium, City director of football Txiki Begiristain described the midfielder as a “formidable” player:
However, things have not quite worked out as he may have hoped. Incredibly, despite the money spent on the midfielder, Phillips made just 31 appearances in all competitions for the Cityzens, despite representing the club in three different seasons.

Given his lack of opportunities under Guardiola, the Leeds academy graduate departed the club on loan in January of 2024, moving to East London outfit West Ham United. However, his opportunities there were also incredibly limited, and he made just ten appearances.
Now, Phillips plays for Ipswich Town, whom he also joined on a season-long loan deal. However, life under Kieran McKenna has also been slow for the experienced defensive midfielder. He has made just eight appearances during his time for the Tractor Boys.
It certainly seems like the best thing for City to do is to cut ties with the Englishman. Not only has he not really been able to make a mark in Sky Blue, but he earns an outrageous £150k-per-week.
That is £110k more than any other player at Portman Road, and a wage City might look to avoid paying if he returns to the club over the summer.
It is a real shame that things did not work out between Phillips and the Premier League champions, but he played a small part in their famous treble win in 2022/23. However, it seems like it will be best for both parties to part ways sooner rather than later, and put this disappointing chapter behind them.

شهدت التدريبات الجماعية للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي الزمالك، غياب اللاعب ناصر ماهر، وذلك على خلفية الأزمة التي نشبت مؤخرًا بعد استبعاده من مواجهة حرس الحدود الأخيرة في الدوري الممتاز.
وكان الزمالك قد أعلن رسميًا إيقاف ناصر ماهر وإحالته إلى الشؤون القانونية، بعد اعتراضه على قرار الجهاز الفني بعدم مشاركته أساسيًا، في اللقاء الذي أقيم ضمن منافسات المرحلة الثانية من الدوري المصري الممتاز (مجموعة حسم اللقب).
وعلم بطولات من مصدر داخل النادي أن ناصر ماهر لم يخض تدريبات الزمالك بناءا على قرار بيسيرو الذي قرر استبعاده من مباراة سموحة المقبلة.

Shami now has the joint-most wickets in the powerplay in IPL 2022, and he even bowled a boundary-less 20th over in which he got the wicket of MS Dhoni. Shami is joint-fourth on the wicket-takers’ list, with 11 of his 18 wickets having come inside the powerplay. However, it is his maturity at the death that has impressed the experts.”This is one of the best seasons for Shami,” Chawla said. “Because we have seen him previously that he generally bowls well with the new ball and by the time he comes to bowl in the death overs he goes for a lot of runs. But this season he has worked on it, and he has bowled well in the death overs as well. We all know he can bowl really well with the new ball. The only problem was in the death overs. But this year he has shown that he has those clear plans for death overs, and he has executed those plans beautifully.”Vettori would have Shami even without that death-bowling improvement. “It shows that Test-match bowling works for the first sort of 16 overs of a T20 game,” Vettori said. “He normally relies on heavy lengths, and a little bit of seam movement. We talked about how [Mohammed] Siraj has lost the ability of seam movement because of his seam position. Shami’s seam position is impeccable.”It is what all young fast bowlers should look at. His release and his ability to hit a consistent area and then letting the ball do the work. He is not asking too much of the ball. He is not trying to swing it too far. He just hits such lengths. And the improvement and maturity that we are talking about in the death bowling. Whereas in the past Shami could be hit or miss like Umesh Yadav. Both Chawla and Vettori had Shami in their first India XI, but disagreed on the third quick.”If you talk about his [Shami’s] current form, he definitely looks like one of them [three picks for an India pace attack],” Chawla said. “He has got pace, he has got that seam movement, the seam position and the wrist position is so amazing that even when there is nothing on the pitch he gets something out of it. Definitely, the way he is bowling, he should be one of the picks.”Vettori wouldn’t even bowl Shami at the death, but would have Bumrah and Harshal do the job. “I think Bumrah and Harshal Patel have to be in the team because of their death bowling,” Vettori said. “What they bring to the table. Harshal can bowl through those middle stages. The third seamer is tough to pick but Shami is potentially clearing out because of his ability to take wickets in the powerplay, bowl aggressively through the middle stages and with the back end taken care of by Bumrah and Harshal.”For Chawla the difficult choice is between Harshal and Arshdeep. He was full of praise for the Punjab Kings left-arm quick. “For me I think I still pick between Harshal and Arshdeep,” Chawla said. “The way Arshdeep has bowled this tournament. He has just been outstanding at the death. He is somebody who doesn’t use new ball much. There would be a pick between Harshal and Arshdeep, and Bumrah and Shami for sure. The powerplay is really important, and it is important to pick up wickets. Gujarat Titans have picked wickets in the powerplay, and that shows in the points table.”Among the 23 bowlers who have bowled a minimum of eight overs at the death during this IPL, Arshdeep has the best economy rate of 7.14, over 14 overs. Bumrah is second with 7.46 in 14.2 overs. Harshal has gone at 9.46 an over but has picked up more wickets than Arshdeep and Bumrah.
On Tuesday night at Lesser Hampden, two days after going head-to-head in the League Cup Final next door, fierce rivals Celtic and Rangers met in the Glasgow Cup Final.

Born in London, Zak Lovelace began his youth career at Millwall, before joining Rangers’ academy in July 2022.

Upon his arrival, now-former Sporting Director Ross Wilson described Lovelace as “an exciting young player”.
However, he didn’t exactly make the best first impression to the wider fanbase, sent off for simulation during the 2023 Scottish Youth Cup at Hampden, live on the BBC, a match his side would go on to lose 6-5 to Celtic.
This time however, Lovelace was the hero, scoring a very late winner in Tuesday’s Glasgow Cup Final.
Rangers manager Philippe Clement was in attendance at the City Stadium, with Lovelace one of the players the Belgian was reportedly keeping a close eye on.
The 18-year-old has already featured for the Light Blues’ first team under Clement.
Last year, he came off the bench during Michael Beale’s final game in charge, a miserable 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Aberdeen, before starting a 3-0 victory at St Mirren during Steven Davis’ very brief stint as interim boss.

This season, Lovelace has made his European debut, introduced as a substitute for the final quarter of an hour of the 4-0 Europa League drubbing of Steaua București, although this is the only time he’s appeared for the first team during the campaign thus far.

Where Zak Lovelace could fit into Rangers' team
Writer Kai Watson compared Lovelace’s winner in the Glasgow Cup Final to Daizen Maeda’s goal in the League Cup Final and, given how much the Japanese winger has tormented Rangers in recent seasons, Gers supporters would be delighted if their teen sensation turns out to be even half as good.
Indeed, Maeda – who arrived in Glasgow back in January 2022 – has scored four goals and provided four assists in his 17 Old Firm appearances to date, utilising his lightning speed to terrorise the Gers’ backline.
Perhaps, Lovelace can utilise his similar attributes to return the favour – as he did with his Maeda-esque finish in midweek – having previously been lauded as a “very exciting and quick forward player” by former Head of Academy, Craig Mulholland.
With the aim now for the teenage diamond to force his way into Clement’s plans on a regular basis, here’s a look at how the Light Blues’ current wingers have been performing this season and why Lovelace could start to feature prominently soon.

In mid-January, just four days before visiting Old Trafford, Rangers host Highland League outfit Fraserburgh, so surely Lovelace is in line for a start when fifth-tier opposition visit Ibrox, if not sooner?
If Clement does turn to his young starlet, he could well have his very own Maeda to call upon moving forward.
